meet my baby girl, laila danielle chell; twenty year old native beach bum born in america and raised in the bahamas from the toddler age of three. on paradise island she is well known by having been a pro surf rider to her native home for ten years. competing in competitions ever since she realized she was a natural on the surf board at the age of nine. she has become a model for many surf sponsors across the islands; having her face splayed out along a number of billboards, magazines, etc. out of the spotlight and stress from being the best she can be in surfing, laila is completely down to earth in her home place. she's a flirtacious young women with a daring drive to try anything at least once and to be honest no matter how much it may hurt. despite always being theeasy-talk-to laila she is she does however have secrets of her own; the biggest being that she recently found out she was bisexual having had a secretive fling with a fellow girl surfer over the fall competitions. keeping it hidden has made her a bit rebellious having to lie to her parents who she is insanely close with. from time to time she'll be out in the party scene now, drinking and smoking to keep the guilt at bay. time can only tell if her life changing secret will either keep her riding the waves or crashing into them instead. friends ; laila is no awkward turtle when it comes to meeting new peopleor making friends out of them for that matter. she's not the bubbly type to be all in your face, but she's easily laidback and the person most people are attracted to talk to with her being a great listener. having grown up on the islands she'll have any sorts of friends from childhood to party goers and fellow surfers. enemies ; i cannot see laila having much of these. maybe some that took her sarcastic remarks as 'fighting words' or even rivals in her surfing competitions. one epic rivalry would be fun to plot out i absolutely think, pm me to snatch that up. :] loves ; like i said before, laila isn't shy at all around girls or guys. having recently found out she is bisexual though doesn't mean she's all over the girls ready to date or hook up with them; she's sort of nervous about that and tends to still go for the boys more keeping it hidden until she's ready. she's extremely flirty and mostly a guy's girl being around them more when she grew up. love is something she's always been surrounded with having grown up with two loving parents being the only child. past exes, hook ups, one night stands, etc. and that fling with the girl surfer are all up for grabs.

Austin lived Santa Barbara, a small city. He became attached with surfing ever since he tried it when he was four. He practiced day and night, and after a long time, he was the best in Santa Barbara for his age. He began to get really cocky about it; thinking he was the best. When he was seventeen he was still surfing, but he had an accident. He was in a surfing competition when he was riding through a tunnel of a wave, but didn’t go fast enough. He wiped out and got a concussion and cut his foot on a piece of coral, needing stiches. That was one of his major injuries and he was so embarrassed that he lost the match. He gave up surfing for a while, as he didn’t want to try it again for the fear he could have worse injuries. He still doesn’t like to be reminded of that day, even though it happens to everyone. He is now doing surfing for fun, but starting slowly since it’s been four years.

so i was thinking maybe lailia knew of him and is disappointed in him for not trying harder and going back on the board for a few years. maybe they bicker often a lot and stuff?

hmmm, i can see these two knowing each other. they're both pretty outgoing and would probably have seen each other from time to time. maybe they've hung out a few times? holden is a surfer, to some extent. he's not a pro or anything, but he enjoys it, as any kid growing up in the bahamas would. maybe they've surfed together before and bonded over that? what do you think?
